water Feature design and construction

WaterScapes staff have more than 20 years of experience designing and building powerful and serene water features that include waterfalls, streams, rock walls and wetlands.

Our water and rock features are key elements of Arnold Palmer Course Design, PGA Tour and other golf courses.  We have provided environmental consulting and permitting services to numerous courses and have provided design and technical assistance to managers of Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye and P.B Dye courses.

Residential communities use our large waterfalls and ponds to create aesthetic drama at their entranceways and our smaller waterfalls and meandering streams to promote peaceful outdoor settings and to connect green spaces within the community.

Wetland and Stream design and restoration

WaterScapes wetland and stream biologists have more than 50 years of experience evaluating the quality of natural systems and using that knowledge to design and build

self-sustaining wetlands and streams.   Our biologists have designed and built more than 1000 acres of wetlands and 12,000 linear feet of streams.

We specialize in finding properties where the historic soils and hydrology are the most suitable for wetland restoration and where subsurface drainage systems can be abandoned or modified to restore hydrology.

We also specialize in finding properties where surface drainage systems can be abandoned or modified and replaced with meandering streams using naturally-stable channel designs.

Wildlife habitat and hunting property design

WaterScapes wildlife and habitat biologists have more than 50 years of experience working with game and non-game wildlife species and have designed, built and enhanced more than 1000 acres of wildlife habitat.

Whitetail deer and turkey habitat management services include enhancing and establishing native habitats including upland woodlands, grasslands and wetlands to create identifiable bedding and travel corridors for deer and nesting and brood raising cover for turkeys and assisting landowners with the design, crop selection and management of food plots.

Waterfowl habitat management services include restoration, creation and enhancement of  wetlands and streams and design and construction of waterfowl feeding areas including ponds, wetlands, and flooded croplands to establish predictable travel patterns.

Our years of success harvesting mature whitetail bucks and waterfowl makes us well suited to provide advice on choosing hunting locations and hunting techniques.
